How Do Affirmations Promote Vibrant Health and Well- Being?

Whenever someone speaks of healing through affirmations, many people dismiss it as esoteric - or even nonsense – and they tend to not take it seriously. However, there exist volumes of scientific evidence that affirmations are an effective approach to healing and the achievement of vibrant health. They have even been shown to promote regeneration and rejuvenation of the body.
How do affirmations promote health and effect healing?

Illness starts in the mind. When you change unhealthy thought patterns and replace them with positive affirmations, you also change the energy that flows to your
physical body from your etheric body, chakras, and through your energy meridians.

Your etheric body is the human subtle energy field - one of the layers of the aura believed to permeate all living
things. Think of it as a blueprint of what is in your cellular structure - a blueprint that reveals your state of
health (or ill health) -- and gives an indication of conditions that often have not yet manifested in your
physical body.

The spoken word, such as a power affirmation, elicits a strong recuperative response in the etheric body - a healing energy that permeates to the physical body, causing healing to occur. Affirmations are powerful instruments that influence both mental and emotional patterns, which are held in the etheric field. The more frequently a healing affirmation is repeated throughout the day, the more effective it is in carrying out healing.

Following are power affirmations you can use to help heal, regenerate, and regenerate your body - and foster radiant health.

* I am perfectly healthy in body, mind and spirit.
* I am well, I am whole, and I am strong and healthy.
* I am healthy, and full of energy and vitality.
* All the cells of my body are daily bathed in the perfection of my divine being.

* I am healthy, happy and radiant.
* I radiate good health.
* My body is a safe and pleasurable place for me to be.
* My sleep is relaxed and refreshing.
* I have all the energy I need to accomplish my goals and to fulfill my desires.
* God's love heals me and makes me whole.
* My body is healed, restored and filled with energy.

There are many ways to use your chosen affirmation. You can recite it aloud to yourself repeatedly, or you may want to write it down repeatedly. The key is to repeat it over and over again throughout the day. Repeating your affirmation reprograms your subconscious mind to accept these thoughts as reality, and ultimately create changes in your life that will manifest this new inner reality.

"How Can I Use Affirmations to Attract Money and Material Possessions?"

So you desire to gain material things in life? Affirmations are usually effective in this respect - maybe even more so than with other desires because material desires often come
with stronger emotional attachments.

Affirmations that are emotionally charged are the ones most likely to work. So when you are emotionally connected to your desire for material things, you can use the power of
affirmations to see how quickly your need is manifested!

Power Affirmations for Attracting Money.
If your desire is to have an abundance of money to fill your needs, practice this affirmation: "I always have an abundance of money to meet all my needs." Repeat it several times, then stop affirming. Be silent while knowing, visualizing, and feeling how it is to already have the amount of money you desire. Feel as though it has already happened and that all your needs are more than satisfied. While in this state, hold yourself open to all the ways and means by which you will have money flow into your life to meet your every need.

Following are other power affirmations for abundant supply. Choose the affirmations that feel appropriate to you those that resonate with you, or strike an emotional chord.

It is important that the words feel comfortable to you and are in line with who you are. Feel free to create one for your specific need by substituting other words that have special meaning to you:

Affirmations of Abundant Supply:

* I am now open to receive.
* Life is easy, I have an abundance of whatever I need.
* I now have surplus, all my needs are being met.
* I have unlimited abundance.
* I now give and receive freely.
* This is a rich universe and there is plenty for all of us.
* I now live in a rich and loving universe.
* Money comes to me easily and effortlessly.
* I am always supplied with whatever I need.
* I move forward with an expectancy of my greatest good.
* I look for and receive a bountiful supply.
* My greatest good is coming to me NOW.

The last affirmation was a turning point for me personally.

Power Affirmation - 3

The mechanics that make affirmations powerful are:

1.      Repetition
The importance of repetition cannot be overemphasized. It imprints the affirmation into your subconscious mind.

2.       Emotions
Get involved, be passionate, use your emotions. Think carefully about the meaning of the words as you repeat them rather than just writing, typing or saying them.

3.       Persistence
practicing affirmations with persistence achieves results much sooner than practicing them periodically. Successive sessions will have a compounding effect.

4.      Belief
You don't necessarily have to believe your affirmation initially, in order for it to work. Belief will grow with your forthcoming successes. What you do need is the ability to “feel” what it would be like when the desire you're affirming is fulfilled, or your need met. Every time that you have a need and that need is met  a certain "feeling" is produced in you. You need to evoke that same feeling when you state your affirmation. In other words, you need to feel with every fiber of your being that what you desire has already happened. Without this feeling, your affirmation is powerless.

5.      Impress Yourself
Personalize your affirmations. They must “resonate” with you feel right for you. The stronger your connection with the affirmation, the deeper the impression it makes on your mind, and the sooner you will experience positive results.

So there you have it - the simple formula for creating affirmations that work. Based on the above, you can easily create your own affirmations to manifest any desire or need you have in life.

Power Affirmation - 2

What do the above power affirmations have in common?

1) They’re stated in the present tense.

An affirmation is more effective when stated in the present tense. For example; "I now have a wonderful job." Avoid affirming something in the future tense, e.g. "I am going to have a wonderful job" or the results will always be waiting to happen.

2) They express a positive statement.

Affirmations need to be stated in the most positive terms possible. Avoid negative statements. Affirm what I/We/You do want, rather than what I/We/you don't want. For example:"I am no longer sick." This is a negative statement. Instead, affirm: "I am now perfectly healthy in body, mind and spirit." This statement is much more powerful as it is positive and reinforces your desired goal and doesn't confuse your subconscious mind with the mention of the undesirable condition.

3) They’re short and specific.

Short affirmations are easy to say, and have a far greater impact at the subconscious level than those which are long and wordy. Keeping them specific and to the point adds power as the idea is uncluttered by extraneous elements.

Power Affirmation - Introduction

An affirmation is defined simply as a positive statement used to reprogram our subconscious. A statement which, when said to our self over and over, with emotion, will influence internal forces and manifest change in your life.

Affirmations, when worded correctly and when emotionally charged, are able to tap into the unlimited creative power of your subconscious mind, and manifest your desires.

Affirmations are not all created equal. Some are, of course, better than others. There are “power affirmations” that have been proven again and again to work.

When we examine the structure of power affirmations, we, too, can learn how to create our own powerful affirmations for our specific purposes.

Consider the following:

"I am what I choose to be."

"All my needs are met instantaneously."

"I love and accept myself exactly as I am."

“Money comes to me easily and effortlessly."
(Fill in the blank with what you desire.)
"I am now perfectly healthy in body, mind and spirit."
"I now create my wonderful, ideal life."

Guidelines for Creating Affirmations that Work

·         Affirmations will help you change your mindset, open up the doors to greater perception and increase your motivation to take action toward your goals.
·         Remember an affirmation is a statement with a thought picture that says you already having your goal.

There are 8 rules for making an affirmation that will work.
1.    Affirmations start with the words “I AM. . .”
2.    Affirmations are positive. Never use the word not in an affirmation.
WRONG: I am not afraid of job interviews.
RIGHT: I am happily and calmly answering every question in my job interviews.
3.    Affirmations are stated in the present tense.
1.    Say it as if it is happening now.
4.    Affirmations are short. Keep them brief.
5.    Affirmations are specific.
WRONG: I am driving a new car.
RIGHT: I am driving a new blue 2008 Lexus LS460.
6.    Affirmations need words that end in -ing. (an action verb).
0.    I am driving a new blue 2008 Lexus LS460.
1.    I am teaching kindergarten.
7.    Affirmations have a feeling word in them. (happily, proudly, thrilled, excited, exhilarated, peacefully, calmly, gratefully or an action verb that express feelings such as enjoying, adoring or feeling great.)
0.    I am happily driving my new blue 2008 Lexus LS460.
1.    I am enjoying teaching kindergarten.
8.    Affirmations are about yourself.
0.    All of your affirmations should be to change your own behavior, not the behavior of someone else.
WRONG: Johnny’s keeping his room clean.
RIGHT: I am calmly and effectively communicating with (or teaching) Johnny about keeping his room clean.

How to Use Affirmations and Visualizations
1.    Repeat your affirmations 3 times per day. The best times are first thing in the morning, in the middle of the day for course correction, and around bedtime.
2.    It is better to work in consistently and depth with a few affirmations than to occasionally repeat a lot of them.
3.    If you are in a private place, read each affirmation out loud. If not, read it silently to yourself.
4.    Close your eyes and visualize yourself experiencing what the affirmation describes. See the scene as you would see it if you were looking out at it through your eyes, as if it were happening around you.
5.    Hear any sounds you might hear when you successfully achieve what your affirmation describes. Include other important people in your life congratulating you and telling you how to pleased they are with your success.
6.    Feeling the feelings that you will feel when you achieve this success. The stronger the feelings, the more powerful the process becomes. (If you have difficulty creating the feelings, you can affirm, “I am enjoying creating powerful feelings in my effective work with affirmations.”)
7.    Say your affirmation again, and then repeat this process with the next affirmation.
Other Ways to Use Affirmations and Visualization
8.    Post 3x5 cards with your affirmations on them around your house.
9.    Post pictures of the things you want around your house or room. You can put a picture of yourself in the picture.
10. Repeat your affirmations during “wasted time” such as waiting in line, exercising and driving. You can repeat them silently or out loud.
11. Record your affirmations and listen to them while you work, drive or fall asleep. You can use endless loop tapes for this. See your audio supply dealers for endless loop tapes.
Write Affirmations (3 x 5 cards)
Make an affirmation for each of your goals and place them on a 3 x 5 index card. Go through the set saying them and visualizing them twice a day. You could also print these on a piece of paper and laminate it.
Affirmation Milling
Mill around, taking each other’s hands, making eye contact and sharing your affirmations with full enthusiasm and feelings congruent to the affirmation.

REPEAT YOUR AFFIRMATIONS DAILY

Every time you read or listen to an affirmation, it becomes a stronger force in your life. Repeat your affirmations at least twice a day—morning and night. I find myself repeating my affirmations throughout the day, repeating them over and over. Soon you will have most of them memorized.

Are you affirmation positive or negative? We may not always be aware of it, but we all create and repeat affirmations constantly. The problem is, we typically don’t pay attention to exactly what those affirmations are saying. Often we go through the day giving ourselves all sorts of contradictory, or even negative messages. We may project confidence to the world around us, while our inner dialogue says… I hope this works. I am so nervous about this. I hope I don’t blow it.Affirmations are self fulfilling prophecies. If we say, This is never going to work… then chances are excellent it never will.

Get into the feelings, emotions and associations you have with affirmations. Feel so jazzed up about what you are saying that you feel like it is already there. When you are able to really get into that feeling place, this is when the new neural connections are created. It is essential to remember emotions, clarity and feelings are the key ingredients to creating effective affirmations that will produce results in your world.

Laminate your affirmations. Have your affirmations laminated. Make a couple of copies for home, work, your car and next to your bed.

Use technology to bombard your nonconscious brain with the declarations of the world you want to create. Technology has given us all sorts of wonderful tools we can use.

Audio:Play your affirmations while you are jogging or working out, cleaning house—anytime you would ordinarily listen to music.

Subliminal Audio and Video:You can play subliminal audio and video recordings to yourself throughout the day.

Subliminal Software:There is software available that will play your affirmations to you by flashing them almost invisibly on your computer screen.
When we have absolute clarity about what it is we wish to create, and repeat our affirmations daily, the Law of Attraction does its part with providing you with all you need to create what you want.
